Come & Stay With Us

Matara
Matara is a busy, booming and sprawling commercial town that owes almost nothing to tourism – which makes it a fascinating window on modern Sri Lankan life. Matara’s main attractions are its ramparts, a well-preserved Dutch fort and, most of all, its street life.

Mirissa
During the migration season in December and April, large pods of Dolphins and Blue Whales can be seen just a few miles offshore from Mirissa. Mirissa Water Sports, based in the Mirissa Harbour offers boat excursions which can take upto three hours. Mirissa Water Sports offers exciting watersports activities such as sailing, fishing, coastal cruises, river trips, sea kayaking, snorkelling and boating activities.

Hikkaduwa
Hikkaduwa is famous among tourists for its natural attractions: wide, clean beaches, coral garden, ocean with crystal clear water and hot sun are just to name a few. Combined with an active nightlife, many tourists come to Hikkaduwa for water sports such as surfing, boogie-boarding, snorkelling and scuba diving.

Bentota
Bentota began life as a settlement built around a small Portuguese fort on the estuary of the Bentota River. In the 19th century, the British converted the fort into a rest house, where civil servants would come to relax in the grounds under the shade of the tamarind trees. Still welcoming those who crave a break, it’s now one of Sri Lanka’s most popular beach resorts.

Weligama
Stilt fisherman - Weligama (meaning ‘Sandy Village’) is located about 30km east of Galle and is an interesting and lively blend of international beach resort and raucous Asian fishing town. You can spend a happy day wandering around, getting a feel for local life, dipping your toes in the ocean and marvelling at the denizens of the deep, who end their days being hacked up and sold from roadside fish stalls.
