After breakfast proceed to visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Sigiriya : This Rock at 5th century AD was a monastery before king Kashyapa built his kingdom better known as the ” Lion Rock ” is a citadel rising up to 560ft from the surrounding area. The popular frescoes of the maidens of heaven are found in the caves of this rock.
Optional lunch at Polonnaruwa visit Polonnaruwa kingdom.
” Polonnaruwa ” was the capital of Sri Lanka from the 11th to 13th century AD. This ancient city is today one of the most beautiful centres of this Island’s cultural heritage. In its prime the city inside it’s 3½ miles strong ecircling walls, housed hundred of thousands of peoples.

After breakfast at the hotel which you stay proceed to Kandy. Visit Temple Of Tooth Relic and optional lunch at Kandy. Its possible to visit Ayurvedic Hearble Garden while you travel to Kandy. One hour refreshment at the hotel proceed to watch Kandyan traditional dancing show.

An Orphanage which was built to take care of elephants. This Orphanage is situated in the Kegalle district on the Colombo – Kandy high way.

After breakfast which proceed to Nuwara Eliya en-route visit tea plantation, water falls, a tea factory. Optional Lunch at Nuwara Eliya. Evening visit the Hakgala botanical garden. Nuwara Eliya is the best place for enjoy having cup of tea or coffee in the evening.
The center of the hill country also called the “Hill station” in British colonial jargon. This ruggedly picturesque location almost 6200 feet in elevation with it’s soft English spring climate is very English in it’s landscape & buildings; which of course was started by the British, who made it their hill resort, during their rule in Sri Lanka.

The earliest recorded history of the city dates back to the year 545 AD, to the chronicles of the Roman historian, Cosmas.
